All possible condolences to Andy's family. I can honestly say that I never knew anyone else quite like him. I will remember what a intelligent, funny, hard working, sociable, honest and fiercely loyal friend he was over more than 30 years. There are plenty of memories from both serious and lighthearted times in the office, including his brand of entertainment by sarcasm lightening up dull financial courses, but mainly out of it of course; innumerable evenings touring City hostelries, Andy telling his sometimes frankly unbelievable but true stories, the banter at "Dream League" auction events, and including the legendary Rhyl trips with Andy as guest of Penshurst Park FC. A very great loss and I will also mention the shock and sadness communicated to me by Andy's other friends and colleagues to whom I have passed the news.
